Berkeley Township Little League will be hosting a unique event to help local die-hard baseball fans get all the latest inside information on their favorite teams, according to the Asbury Park Press.
On Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., in the Volunteer Community Center at the Moorage Baseball Complex, the league will host a live question and answer ""chat'' with special media guests from New York and Philadelphia who cover the local baseball teams in depth.
Patterned after the popular ""online chats'' reporters host, this live version will give fans a chance to ask questions and get information on their favorite teams and players plus get a unique perspective of what it is like to cover sports teams on a daily basis and also support Berkeley Township Little League.
On the panel will be veteran Phillies reporter Jim Salisbury; Paul Hagen of the Philadelphia Daily News; Bergen Record Mets beat reporter Steve Popper; and Kevin Williams of WOBM & the Shore Sports Network.
